(The Mechanic Analysis)

The Opening Scene to The Mechanic

In this opening scene you see a man who is in a large house with a swimming pool init which suggests that he is rich, as well you also see that he has body guards which suggests that he is a
target for some people which also suggests that he is a villain. Next you see the man get into the pool and start to swim up and down, the man stops half way because he sees a watch on the floor and decides to pick it up with out knowing that its a trap. When he picks up the watch a man appears and stars to choke out the guy, when the man passes out he uses the body to reach the end of the pool to make it appear that he is still alive. The good guy leaves the pool and heads down stairs to get changed, while he's getting changed a maid finds the body of the boss in the pool face down and shouts for help, the guards pull him out to find him. While the drama is going good guy manages to escape and leave via boat.
Camera Shots and Angles

This camera shot is a over the shoulder shot showing a small part of a person and the house in the background. This is effective as you  get to see the setting of the first scene and how rich the bad guy is especially when he is living in a house like this with bodyguards and maids, this is also effective as it suggests to the audience that its going to be difficult to breach the building without being detected by anyone.

This camera shot is a close up of the main character in the film, this is effective as it gives you the main character and what he looks like which means you can tell that it's him because of what it looks like. This is also effective as it is a close up of his face which gives you his facial expression which in this image looks like he has his eyes on someone or something which is why he looks a little bit angry/mysterious.

This camera shot is a medium shot of the main character jumping off a bridge trying to escape from the bad guys back at the house, this is effective as it shows you the risk that he is taking to try to escape alive. This is also effective as it shows you that is film is going to have stunts and action init which makes it an action film, as well it tells you the height he is jumping from to increase the thrill for the audience.
