Our Short Film

This short clip above is a piece of work that we filmed our selves at are school, to film this we used a tripod and a camera. This clip is some random small clips bunched together to help us gain confidence in filming and editing, which then can be used to help us create our final short film. 

Strengths and Weaknesses 

Some strengths of this clip was that we showed some simple editing techniques like speeding some parts up and also turning some parts of the clip in to black and white, which allowed us to test out different ways we could edit clips to make them look different from the original one. Some weaknesses of this clip is that in some of the parts we didn't use the tripod which meant that some parts were a little bit shaky. 

What other people thought of it

Other people liked the clip produced because it helped them see different types of editing techniques that could be used in later work to make it look better. Other people liked the way we used different clips and made them in to one which allowed them to understand that you don't need to film it all in one go.

Software

The software we used to edit this clip was called adobe premier elements 10. This software allowed us to put together our clips so we could create on big one, this was good because it meant that we could edit each clip at any time instead of doing them separately which saved time. The software also allowed us to change the different whys the clip looked by being able to change the colour and the effects, which also allowed us to put in some special effects that looks good. Another thing that the software allowed us to do was to either speed up the sections of the clip or to even slow down parts which mean't we could make things faster if they are to slow of long. One last thing the software allowed us to do was to cut clips which meant if the clip went on for to long you can basically crop down the clip to make it shorter.
