Opening Scene to Rush
In the opening scene to Rush you are made to first look up at the sky which is dark and cloudy which suggests that something bad is going to happen in the race due to the dark rainy background and atmosphere which would make the conditions for the racers harder, suggesting that a crash is going to happen. While this is happening you have one of the main characters narrating over the first scene which suggests that he is talking about the past and is remembering what happened on that certain day. In this scene you also see both the main characters, one of the characters is sitting in his car waiting for the race to start while the other character is standing around with a group of girls taking pictures which suggests that he likes the attention compared to the other guy who just wants to win races. Later you see that the two main characters have rivalry which has gone on for years, one of the characters copies the tires of the other to show that if he wins their wont be any excuses for losing. After that they all get ready to set off, while getting ready you see that they become very concentrated on winning and then the race stars.
